TOFU COOKING DEMONSTRATION

How to press tofu:

Use firm or extra firm tofu.
Drain
Wrap drained tofu in thin dish towel or several layers of super absorbent paper towels.
Place wrapped tofu on plate. Place additional plate on top of wrapped tofu. Place (2) 16 oz cans on top of plate. This is your weight
Drain water that has pooled on the plate. Change towel after 15 minutes and replace plate and weights.
Unwrap tofu. Slice into 4 equal pieces (dice if desired…This is a 4 X 4 cut). It is now ready for your favorite marinade or to grill, broil, roast, or sautee
