Marinated Green Beans

- ½ lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 cups seeded and chopped fresh tomato
- 5 cloves garlic, peeled and cut in half horizontally
- 1 TB fresh basil
- ¼ cup water
- 2 Teaspoons olive oil
- 1 TB balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In small pan place water, tomato , basil and green beans.
- Bring to boil and allow to simmer until beans are cooked.
- Toss with oil vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Serve hot or cold
