Marinated Green Beans

‐ ½ lb green beans, trimmed
‐2 cups seeded and chopped fresh tomato
‐5 cloves garlic, peeled and cut in half horizontally
‐1 TB fresh basil
‐¼ cup water
‐2 Teaspoons olive oil
‐1 TB balsamic vinegar
‐Salt and pepper to taste

‐In small pan place water, tomato , basil and green beans.
‐Bring to boil and allow to simmer until beans are cooked.
‐Toss with oil vinegar, salt and pepper.
‐Serve hot or cold
