Tricia Burns, PA-C
Tricia Burns, P.A.-C. received her undergraduate degree from The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY before completing the Physician Assistant Graduate Program with a surgical focus at Cornell University Weill Medical College in New York. Ms. Burns is an experienced physician assistant with experience in bariatric surgery, plastic surgery and neurosurgery.
Erica Mckearney, PA-C
Erica McKearney, an Oregon native, earned her undergraduate degree from Oregon State University. She earned a masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University in 2011. She worked as a Physician Assistant in urgent care and family practice for five years before joining Rex Bariatric Specialists in 2016. She enjoys reading, hiking, walking her dog, and spending time with her friends and family.
Michelle Wallace, Bariatric Coordinator, B.S.N., R.N.
Michelle Wallace, B.S.N., R.N. is a North Carolina native and has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has experience in Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology and Cardiology before joining Rex Bariatrics in June 2019. Michelle enjoys working with patients from their initial consultation, through surgery, and beyond to ensure the resources and support are provided to patients for weight loss success. She enjoys running, coaching and spending time with her family and friends.
Mary Gray Hutchison, M.P.H., R.D., L.D.N.
Mary Gray Hutchison, M.P.H., R.D., L.D.N. is a graduate of NC State University with an advanced degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been providing nutrition therapy and education in the Raleigh area since 2008. She has been working with weight loss surgery patients for most of her career. She has a passion for facilitating group classes, grocery store tours and cooking demonstrations.
Caroline Pope, M.S., R.D., L.D.N. received her Master of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College in 2014. Helping this population achieve life changing success has been her dream since receiving an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. .
Margaret Roberts, MS, RD, LDN
Margaret Roberts received her master of science in Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh. She has provided nutrition counseling within a variety of environments, including a weight loss surgery practice, cardiac rehabilitation, and a dialysis clinic. She enjoys seeing the positive ways that nutrition can impact a person’s life. She moved to Raleigh with her husband, cat, and English bulldog to escape the cold Pittsburgh winters.
