Pepperoni Pizza Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef (93% lean)
- 1/2c green bell pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1c mushrooms, diced
- 1tsp pizza seasoning (like Frontier brand, salt free) OR 1tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2tsp salt
- 16oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 15oz can pizza sauce
- 14.5oz can Italian stewed tomatoes
- 8oz no salt added tomato sauce
- 1.5c water
- 3.5oz sliced pepperoni, sliced in half
- Optional Topping: Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
In a large pot, brown ground beef, bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Drain any remaining fat. Stir in pizza seasoning and salt. Add in all remaining ingredients and simmer 30minutes (or until desired thickness).
Top with mozzarella before serving (if desired).
Makes about 12 servings
