Ingredients

  • ½ lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups seeded and chopped fresh tomato
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and cut in half horizontally
  • 1 TB fresh basil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 Teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 TB balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • In small pan place water, tomato , basil and green beans.
  • Bring to boil and allow to simmer until beans are cooked.
  • Toss with oil vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot or cold
