Dr. Yurcisin brings over 15 years of experience as a board-certified bariatric and general surgeon, with extensive expertise in both weight-loss surgery and advanced cosmetic procedures, including radio frequency assisted liposuction, microneedling, IPL and PRP hair restoration.
Trained at one of the world’s leading bariatric fellowship programs at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Yurcisin has performed thousands of surgeries, earning a reputation for precision, patient-centered care, and an unwavering commitment to each individual’s transformation journey.
Born in Buffalo, NY, and the eldest of 10 siblings, Dr. Yurcisin developed patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of family dynamics—qualities that translate directly into his compassionate care for patients. After years of serving patients in New Jersey at Garden State Bariatrics & Weight Control, he has relocated to North Carolina to bring his expertise and holistic approach to the Rex Bariatrics community.
