15 ounces canned chick peas (garbanzos), drained 15 ounces canned chick peas (garbanzos), with liquid 1/4 cup tahini OR 0.25 cups (35 g) raw sesame seeds 1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
2 medium garlic cloves, peeled
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
Place chick peas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin and salt into the blender and secure lid. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed, progressing to high.
Blend 1 minute, using the spatula to push the ingredients into the blades periodically.
