Ingredients

  • 1lb 93% FF ground turkey
  • 2 Tbsp red onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp ground sage
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
*If making sausage patties, divide the mixture into 8 equal parts and shape each into a ball. On a sheet of wax paper flatten each ball into a patty. To cook, set a skillet over medium-high heat and once a spritz of water sizzles in the pan, mist it with olive oil spray. Cook patties one or two minutes per side, or until just starting to brown and no longer pink inside. Serve immediately.
Patties can be pressed and stored between sheets of wax paper for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer.
*If making Swiss Chard and Ricotta Mini Pies, refer to recipe.
